Did you know that during the first couple months of pregnancy your body is working as hard as it would if you were scaling a mountain? It’s working hard to help the baby get off to a good start. No wonder I’m exhausted all the time! I feel like I have to go to bed early, then nap in the afternoon. Plus I’m still waiting for the morning sickness to hit. Maybe I’ll be one of the lucky ones that doesn’t get morning sickness!
I just got the book “What To Expect When You’re Expanding”. Great book, tons of information! I ordered Luke “What To Expect When Your Wife is Expanding” (hehe).
See Spot…See Spot Grow
I had my first ultrasound today. It was probably a little earlier than necessary, but now I have visual proof that it is there. I’m really only 4 weeks and 3 days along. I guess the risk for miscarrying is high during this stage so I hope and pray that everything will be okay through this first trimester. So, here’s a picture of what I have affectionately named “Spot”. Yes, that’s “Spot” in the middle of the picture. Now let’s pray that we can see “Spot” grow! I go back in two weeks for another ultrasound. “Spot” should be more recognizable then.
I’m All Ears
Seeing that this is my first pregnancy and I have NO idea what to expect, I thought it would be great to see if anyone out there has any advice for me. I’m currently in my 4th week, I hear that morning sickness is coming up in a couple weeks. Any suggestions on how to handle that when it comes around? What can I expect next month? Post comments to me. I’m a sponge….ready to learn!
Testing Time
Four positive pregnancy tests. I guess this means I’m pregnant! Time to tell the family.
