“Happy” Birthday Izzy
Today Izzy turned 1. I can’t believe it’s already been one year…and how our lives have changed. Today however, has not been a happy day for Izzy. She’s sick with a little stomach bug that’s going around town so she spent her day sleeping, puking and trying to eat and drink. She seems a little better right now and is keeping some crakers and electrolyte solution down with is an improvement from this morning.
For her birthday I had planned to take Izzy to an indoor play area and make her a giant cupcake served with ice cream. We’re going to postpone those birthday activities until she’s 100% better. Until then, here’s some pictures from how she spent her first birthday =(
Just 5 More Months!
Framing on our house is almost complete. We’re finally able to actually walk through our future home. I’m so excited! Actually I will be more excited when the interior starts to get done and there are walls up etc. Here are some pictures from today.

Vegas Baby!
This past week we were in Vegas, Luke, Jesse, Izzy and I. Luke had a conference to go to, so the rest of the family tagged along. We met up with Jim and Michelle on Monday at the Hoover Dam. The rest of our week was spent walking through some amazing hotels and eating really really good food. We also were able to see Cirque Du Soleil “O” which was amazing as expected. Happy New Year!
Welcome year 2009! I can’t believe you are already here! This new years eve we had over some of our friends. I cooked a bunch of stuff that day and we snacked all night. We rang in the new year 15 minutes early. We felt pretty old when we started to fade at about 11pm.
Our house is coming along quickly. They’ve now fixed the issue with the basement window being in the wrong spot and have started to frame the house. It’s so exciting to see progress!
