Happy 2nd Birthday Izzy!
This year we celebrated Izzy’s birthday in Canada with Luke’s family. Even though there was a TON of snow, we all gathered at Luke’s parents bed and breakfast for a meal, ice cream cake and lots of presents! I think Izzy had a blast opening her many presents and playing with GiGi and grandma and grandpa Knowles. Here’s the birthday girl!
I’m a GIRL!
That’s right! We’re having another girl!! I am so excited to have two little girls in my life. Funny how things work out. When Luke and I first started thinking about kids, we originally wanted two boys. Now God has given us two girls and I love it! We are now having to find another girl name which is a challenge just as it was with Isabelle. Hopefully we’ll find the right name soon so that we can stop calling her #2!

Belly Week 19
Happy New Year!
2010…I can’t believe it’s a new year already. Izzy will turn two at the end of the month. This year we’ll be adding another little one to our family. Time is going to fly by! I’m about 18 weeks into my pregnancy now, but I haven’t been as focused on my growing belly as I was when I was pregnant with Izzy. I actually have to count the weeks to know what week I’m currently at in my pregnancy.
Being pregnant with baby #2 is definitely different with one running around. I’ve noticed that I haven’t packed on the pounds as much in this pregnancy than with Izzy. Probably because I’m chasing her around all day. All of my good intentions of re-wearing my pregnancy clothes went out the window because they simply are too big and were for the summer season. Maybe I’ll be able to re-wear them later on this year when the weather is warmer and when I’m a little bigger in the belly.
There seems to be a baby boom amongst all our friends right now. I believe we know of at least 5 couples that are due within a week or two of me. Most of them are on baby #1, but it’s great to share in this phase of life with friends and will be interesting to see how their lives change as our life has changed with Izzy around.
We can’t wait to find out the sex of baby #2. Anyone want to venture a guess??
