Happy New Year!
2010…I can’t believe it’s a new year already. Izzy will turn two at the end of the month. This year we’ll be adding another little one to our family. Time is going to fly by! I’m about 18 weeks into my pregnancy now, but I haven’t been as focused on my growing belly as I was when I was pregnant with Izzy. I actually have to count the weeks to know what week I’m currently at in my pregnancy.
Being pregnant with baby #2 is definitely different with one running around. I’ve noticed that I haven’t packed on the pounds as much in this pregnancy than with Izzy. Probably because I’m chasing her around all day. All of my good intentions of re-wearing my pregnancy clothes went out the window because they simply are too big and were for the summer season. Maybe I’ll be able to re-wear them later on this year when the weather is warmer and when I’m a little bigger in the belly.
There seems to be a baby boom amongst all our friends right now. I believe we know of at least 5 couples that are due within a week or two of me. Most of them are on baby #1, but it’s great to share in this phase of life with friends and will be interesting to see how their lives change as our life has changed with Izzy around.
We can’t wait to find out the sex of baby #2. Anyone want to venture a guess??

A boy or a girl? It doesn’t really matter. A healthy,happy baby should
satisfy everyone. I can see izzy being a little mother to the baby and teaching him/her about growing up: how to pull the wool over Daddy’s eyes, how to teach her little sibling how to toss the food she doesn’t like on the floor for Samson. Maybe another girl would be nice. She could wear Izzy’s Bumble Bee Princess costume in a couple years when Hallowe’en comes around.
